Brewster is a 2-year-old Pug/Chihuahua mix with one simple wish — to be right next to his person, always. At just 11 lbs., this devoted little guy has a huge heart and endless love to give. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will never let you feel alone, Brewster is your boy.

He loves sleeping in bed with his human, cuddling close, and playing with his favorite stuffy toys. Brewster wants to be the only pet in the home so he doesn’t have to share his person’s attention — he’s happiest when he’s your one and only.

Brewster’s story is one of resilience. He was found as a stray in Houston, injured after being hit by a car and taken to a high kill shelter. Pep’s Pals Rescue stepped in, got him the leg surgery he needed, and gave him a second chance at life. Living on the streets alone taught Brewster how precious love and safety are, and now he clings tightly to the people who care for him.

He needs a home where someone is around during the day, so he can feel secure and know he’s never been forgotten. Brewster is being fostered in Texas and is ready to travel to his forever home.
