Meet Handsome Henry, a sweet 2-year-old, 80-pound barrel of fun. He is a kind-hearted, lovable boy, eager to meet people. He came to Maryland from a shelter in North Carolina where he was a shelter favorite. He is a big love bug who loves attention and being around people. He is confident, athletic, and full of personality — the kind of dog who wakes up ready to start the day with a smile and a full-body tail wag.
Henry lives with dogs of all sizes and cats with no issues. He is energetic but not aggressive. He is an active boy and would enjoy a friend to play with or someone to take him on adventures at your local park or a walk in your neighborhood. He rides well in the car and is willing to jump right in your vehicle for his next adventure.
Toys are one of his favorite things to play with in the house. Outside, he loves to chase the squirrels and admire the deer. Although he arrived at the shelter very thin, he has gained his weight back, which may explain his food and treat motivation!
Henry is great playing with puppies and small dogs in is foster home. He is having a blast playing with the puppies and his toys.
Henry enjoys the great outdoors. Henry is fully vetted and heartworm negative. If you are looking for a dog to go on hikes or long walks, this big pup is your guy.
