Meet Pecan!

Pecan is a darling Hound/Shepherd mix who will turn one year old at the end of October. She’s a fun, joyful girl with a naturally sweet personality that makes her instantly lovable.

Pecan was found as a stray in Texas and taken to a highkill shelter, but her gentle nature and bright spirit earned her a second chance. Now safely fostered in Maryland (MD), she’s blossoming into a playful, affectionate companion.

She’s only 25 lbs, making her a perfect medium sized dog for families, apartments, or anyone wanting a smaller shepherd type mix. Pecan loves toys, enjoys playing fetch, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She’s the kind of pup who brings happiness wherever she goes.
