At just 18 months old, Cesar is a handsome, powerful young dog looking for an experienced home that appreciates everything this incredible breed has to offer. Originally bred as working and guardian dogs, Presa Canarios are known for being intelligent, loyal, confident, and deeply devoted to their families. They thrive with owners who understand large, strong breeds and can provide consistent leadership and training. This isnt a breed for everyone—and thats okay. For the right person, theyre exceptional companions.
At around 70 pounds, Cesar could stand to gain a little weight, but dont let his size fool you—hes surprisingly easy to walk and has nice leash manners. He already knows sit and paw, making it clear hes had training and lived in a home before.
Cesar came to us microchipped but was never reclaimed. Whatever the reason, hes now looking for a fresh start with a family who will appreciate everything he has to offer.
Cesar has passed his dog evaluation. His behavior around cats is unknown. Because of his size and strength, were looking for a home without small children, and experience with large or guardian breeds is strongly preferred.

Cesars adoption fee is under $250 and includes his neuter, microchip, and being up-to-date on vaccines, along with an adoption folder filled with helpful resources and perks to get you started together.
