Buffalo , we are honored to introduce you to our new mastiff, Juno!
Juno is what we in the biz refer to as a scared baby.
At about 2 years old, she may not be a literal baby, but she is in spirit. She was found right here in the city tied to a pole, so who can blame her for feeling a
The good news? Juno LOVES other dogs. Around them, she finds happiness and confidence, and luckily for her, we've got plenty of potential friends here at CBAS! She doesnt have a full tail, but that nubbin wags SO quickly with a canine companion!
Even better than making friends with our shelter dogs would be finding a furry brother or sister of her very own.
If you already have a dog at home, bring them along for a meet-and-greet so we can make sure they're a good match.
!! Don't stress about the redness around her eye. Juno has a condition called cherry eye that will be corrected with a simple surgery once she is adopted. It will be done while she's snoozing during her spay surgery.
We're recommending a home with older kids for Juno to start.
This isn't because we think she'd be unkind to a child. On the contrary, she doesn't appear to have a mean bone in her body. We simply think the hootin' and hollerin' that accompanies excited little ones would be a bit overwhelming for her. Wed like to see her find a calm environment to decompress in.
If you have it in your heart to welcome this beautiful, sensitive girl into your home, come meet Juno at CBAS.
