Nia is a 4-year-old Poodle mix weighing in at a very portable 13.8 pounds—basically the ideal size for laps, couches, and being carried around like the little queen she is.

Her personality? Sweet. Like, ridiculously sweet. The kind of dog who makes you wonder how you ever lived without her. She’s gentle, friendly, and just an all-around “good girl” in the way that makes life easier and happier.

Nia gets along great with other dogs and would happily coexist or make friends, depending on the vibe. She’s the kind of pup who fits in wherever she goes—low drama, high charm.

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
