DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Introducing Duke – 12 Pounds of Pure Love Wrapped up in a Perfect Poodle Package!
This little man was a breeder dog, and he is now getting his chance to discover what it's like to be truly loved. Duke is a shy little fellow at first, but underneath that timid exterior is the sweetest boy. In fact, one of his favorite things is baby talk—tell him what a good boy he is, and you'll see him come right out of his shell. Duke is also wonderful with other dogs, and having a canine friend in his new home could help him continue to blossom. His easygoing nature and small size make him a great fit for just about any household.
All Duke wants is what every dog deserves—a family who will be patient, kind, and willing to show him that the best chapter of his life is still ahead. Could you be the one to give Duke the forever home he's been waiting for? Apply today and give Duke the chance to trade his past for a lifetime of cuddles, comfort, and unconditional love.
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
