Finley - Poodle Dog for Adoption in Foley, Alabama

Hi, I’m Finley! I’m an 8-year-old, 52-pound Poodle, but nobody seems to have told me I’m 8 because I act much more like a happy 3 or 4-year-old. I’m playful, affectionate, full of personality and always ready to be part of whatever my people are doing. I absolutely love my stuffies and I’ll even carry one along on walks, which is pretty adorable if I do say so myself. I’m being fostered in Quincy, Michigan and I’m fresh from the groomer, feeling good and ready to find my forever fit.

I walk amazingly well on a leash and I have wonderful manners in the house. I won’t even jump up on the couch unless you tell me it’s okay and pat the cushion for me. Then I’m more than happy to come up and snuggle. I’m crate trained, great with people, good with other dogs and I did fantastic at my recent grooming appointment. I’ve spent the last few years in a loving home, but circumstances changed and I now need a new family through absolutely no fault of my own. I already know what it feels like to be loved and included and I’m hoping someone will give me that again.

Don’t let my age fool you. I still have plenty of pep in my step, I love going for walks, I enjoy playtime and I have so much life left to live. I’ll come fully vetted, neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. If you’re looking for a dog with the manners of a grown-up, the spirit of a much younger pup and a heart that’s ready to belong to someone again, I just might be your guy.
