DESCRIPTION

*EXPERIENCE OWNING DOGS THAT NEED REGULAR PROFEESIONAL GROOMING IS REQUIRED!*

Meet our super cute little guy named Stitch! Stitch is about 6 years old and he was surrendered to our shelter because his owner could no longer care for him and the other dogs in the home. Stitch and 3 other dogs were surrendered to us at the same time. We are told they are all Poodle and Schnauzer mixes. The other 3, that you can see in some of the photos, are female dogs that he has always lived with. Stitch is a very happy and playful little dog who loves everyone! He is fine being picked up and carried around. He only weighs about 9 lbs and he is fully grown. Stitch and the others all have hair that will need regular professional grooming. We are requiring any potential adopters have experience owning dogs that need this. Stitch is good with dogs and cats. He can go to a home with children 10 years old and older. Stitch can be adopted into the same home with any of the other dogs he came in to our shelter with.

If you are interested in adopting Stitch Please Email us at Adopt@savingpawsct.org for an application! His adoption fee is $75.00.

Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal.
Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal.

An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments.

ALL ANIMALS ARE SPAYED AND NEUTERED BEFORE THEY GO HOME.
