Poodle and Mixed Breed Dogs Available for Adoption in Houston, Texas

Hi, I'm Koko :)

I'm a 23 lb cream-colored golden retriever/poodle mix. I have soft fur and I'm told I have soft feelings too. I'm still learning about big things like new people, new places, and why chairs sometimes make weird sounds when I walk by them.

At first I might hang back a little. I like to look around and make sure everything is okay before I join in. I'm not being shy on purpose-I'm just doing my "careful thinking" thing.

But if you sit nice and calm with me, I start to get braver. I'll come a little closer. I'll follow you to see what you're doing. And if you have treats... oh wow, I suddenly remember I am a very friendly dog after all.
I'm still figuring out who I'm becoming, but I think I've got good stuff to work with-wiggly curiosity, a gentle heart, and a big interest in snacks and kind voices.

So I guess I'm just looking for someone patient who doesn't mind if I take my time. I'm doing my best, and I think I'm going to turn out pretty great.

Adoption fee is:

ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.

Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.

Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
