Snowball - Pomeranian and Chinese Crested Dog Dog for Adoption in Toronto, Ontario

Available for adoption in Toronto/GTA and surrounding areas within ON Snookies is a volunteer-run, federally registered not-for-profit rescue. We place dogs locally only—we do not ship, deliver, or place dogs in the U.S.
Meet-and-greets are done in person where the dog is fostered. All adoptions include screening, introductory training, and the use of a 2-leash system with a 5-point harness. GPS trackers will be required for new adoptions starting Sept 2026. Due to high interest, volunteers may not be able to respond to every inquiry. Snowball is a fun loving little boy. Initially, he has stranger danger with people he doesn't know. Just fine him space and time...Like a cocoon transforming into a little butterfly.

He waa nippy at first but after a week, he's so good. Our foster parent brings him to work and Snowball is very good at traveling and makes himself comfortable on the ttc.

Snowball is toilet trained. Used to having people around him. He's good with other small dogs and cats!

As long as you are understand Snowball has trust issues in the beginning and able to stand back and let him come to you, all will be good. Being a strong leader will help him gain the confidence he needs to trust you!

Snowball's Must Haves:

Experience with Stranger danger/ reactivity
Flexible work schedule.
A vet reference/pet professional reference is required
A fully fenced backyard preferred but not a must
