Snookies is a volunteer-run, federally registered not-for-profit rescue. We place dogs locally only—we do not ship, deliver, or place dogs in the U.S.
Meet-and-greets are done in person where the dog is fostered. Adoptions include screening, introductory training, and the use of a 2-leash system with a 5-point harness. GPS trackers will be required for new adoptions starting September 2026. Due to high interest, volunteers may not be able to respond to every inquiry. Frankie is a sweet loving boy. Everyone who has met him just loves him. The first thing people will say is "He's such a good dog!" And he is! This little guy has the best temperament and will make a great family pet. He's also 100% toilet trained, yay!

Who would abandon such a great dog? Hard to believe!

Frankie also loves the company of dogs. He can get adopted on his own or go to a home with another small, playful dog. Hmm, we do have Bebe the Cavapoo that would make a great pairing!

Frankie gets along with other small dogs and cats. He's not a reactive dog and does not have separation anxiety. He is used to having people around him and seldom left alone for too long.

Frankie's Must Haves:

Knowledge/experience with small dogs
Flexible work schedule.
A vet reference/pet professional reference is required
Okay in a home with children 9 and up. We don't know if he's good with young children
A fully fenced backyard preferred but not a must
