Buccee - Pointer and Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Oak Ridge North, Texas

Buccee is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX and is eligible to transport to an adopter as soon as one is lined up!

Meet Buccee!

Buccee is the cutest little pup around! Buccee's mom was found as a stray next to a busy freeway with her friend. Both dogs were rescued and a day later, Momma Abilene felt safe enough to deliver our Texas litter!

Buccee was born on 3/19/26 and is 5 months old (as of 8/30/26) and is a male. Buccee is fully vaccinated and microchipped. Buccee currently weighs about 35-40 pounds with room to grow! We estimate he will grow to be a medium - large sized pup. Momma dog weighs about 60 pounds, so this is totally a guess based off of our vet's recommendations. Buccee will be adopted out on a neuter contract and neutered between 6 months to 1 year of age.

Buccee currently lives with multiple other dogs of all ages and sizes, 1 cat and 4 children ages 3-11 years of age and Buccee is great with everyone! He enjoys playing in the yard with his doggie foster siblings and is always so gentle with the kids. He will try to play with the cat or he leaves him alone if he needs space.
Buccee's foster mom describes him as a bundle of joy and the sweetest little pup! He enjoys belly rubs from his foster parents and playing with his doggie foster siblings in the yard.

Buccee is full of personality and a total puppy. He loves to run around and play with his doggie foster siblings, but also loves to climb in your lap for snuggles. We think he would love another dog in the home to show him the ropes, but this is not necessary,

Buccee would love a fully fenced yard or an active family as he (and most puppies) have puppy energy he'll need to burn off. All of our puppies under the age of 1 year old are strongly encouraged to attend some form of puppy obedience classes / training with their new adoptive family.

Buccee is fully potty trained and crate trained. He also does well in the car! He would make for a great adventure buddy!
