ADOPTION INFORMATION
Cinnamon is currently in foster care in South Korea and will travel to the United States with a flight volunteer once matched with a suitable family, and every vetted applicant selected to adopt her will receive a two week trial and monitoring period with rescue support.

Cinnamon is a gentle, affectionate, and moderately active dog who may initially keep her distance in unfamiliar situations. She warms up quickly when people remain patient, allow her to approach, and offer treats. Once comfortable, she enjoys staying close and showing affection.

House Training: Approximately 90 percent of her bathroom trips are outdoors, with about 10 percent occurring indoors. She is still completing house training and may need a consistent outdoor schedule after adoption.
Food Management: Cinnamon has recently become more interested in other dogs' food. No aggression toward people has been observed, but dogs should be fed separately in a multi dog home while everyone adjusts.

PERSONALITY
Cinnamon is affectionate, thoughtful, food motivated, and socially aware. She enjoys spending time with people, exploring outdoors, and participating in walks or outings. She also settles easily at home and does not require constant activity or entertainment.

PEOPLE AND CHILDREN
Women: Cinnamon may observe from a distance at first but usually approaches after receiving a few treats. Once comfortable, she enjoys affection and staying nearby.
Men: She may initially keep slightly more distance from men but warms up with patience and treats. She should be allowed to approach on her own.
Children: Cinnamon has not lived with children, so her compatibility with them is not fully known. Calm children should avoid immediately approaching or touching her and allow her to initiate contact.

OTHER DOGS
Cinnamon generally does well with large and small dogs. She reads canine signals and gives space when another dog is uninterested. She may become nervous if a small dog barks or reacts strongly toward her. Introductions should be supervised, especially with much smaller dogs.
Cinnamon has lived with senior dogs and regularly met visiting dogs without significant problems. She could live as an only dog or with compatible resident dogs.

CATS
Cinnamon has shown little interest in cats and has not chased or acted aggressively toward them. She has remained calm even when a cat took food placed in front of her. She gives cats space when they hiss or communicate discomfort and may be suitable for a home with a dog experienced cat.

HOME LIFE
Alone Time: Cinnamon has occasionally remained home for about eight hours without problems.
Separation Anxiety: None observed. She generally sleeps while alone.
Barking: Cinnamon may alert bark when she sees people, vehicles, or movement outside and may bark when a family member returns home. She usually settles when given a firm verbal cue.
Resting: Comfortable resting independently in different areas of the home. She may sleep alone or near her caregivers without becoming fixated on one location.

HOUSE TRAINING
Current Pattern: Approximately 30 percent during walks, 60 percent in the yard, and 10 percent indoors. Indoor accidents currently occur about three times per week.
Progress: Cinnamon initially eliminated entirely indoors, but consistent training has significantly increased her outdoor bathroom habits.
Needs: A regular outdoor schedule, praise and rewards after outdoor elimination, and patience while adjusting to a new home.

WALKS AND EXERCISE
Current Routine: Two training walks daily, usually about 50 minutes each, with additional yard time and a final bathroom break at night.
Leash Skills: Cinnamon walks with little pulling and usually passes other dogs calmly. She enjoys sniffing and exploring.
New Environments: She may pause or hesitate on an unfamiliar route. Calm and confident guidance helps her continue.
Recall: Generally responds well to her name and recall cues in familiar settings. Recall may be less reliable when she is frightened, highly excited, or in an unfamiliar environment.

CAR RIDES
Cinnamon rides well and remains comfortable during travel. At an unfamiliar destination, she may hesitate to leave the vehicle. Gently guiding her out by the harness handle helps her exit and begin exploring.

CRATE AND GROOMING
Crate: Fully crate trained. Cinnamon enters voluntarily and rests or sleeps comfortably inside. When frustrated, she may briefly enter the crate and scratch at the floor before settling.
Bathing: Tolerates bathing well.
Dental Care: Allows tooth brushing without significant difficulty.

FOOD TREATS AND PLAY
Food: Purina Pro Plan Adult Sensitive Skin and Stomach Medium and Large Breed dry food.
Eating Habits: Good appetite and not generally picky.
Favorite Treats: Enjoys most treats and especially likes beef.
Hard Treats: Hard bone treats should be avoided because they may irritate her stomach.
Favorite Play: Enjoys running, physical play, and interactive games with her caregivers. She plays enthusiastically for a while and then settles independently.
Resource Guarding: None observed with toys, belongings, resting spaces, or people. Separate feeding is recommended in a multi dog home because of her increased interest in other dogs' meals.

HEALTH AND CARE
Current Health: Reported healthy.
Medical History: No known medical history was provided.
Allergies: None identified.
Parasite Prevention: Heartgard and Frontline on the 15th of each month.
Ongoing Prevention: Must continue monthly throughout the year, including winter.

DESTRUCTIVE BEHAVIOR
Cinnamon tried to tear and swallow fabric during her early foster period, but this behavior is now rarely observed. Small fabric pieces and other easily swallowed objects should still remain out of reach. No current furniture damage, household destruction, or mounting has been reported.

IDEAL HOME
Cinnamon will do best with a patient and consistent family that gives her time to understand unfamiliar situations without forcing her. She enjoys a comfortable home routine, regular walks, and weekend activities such as hiking or outings.
She could live as an only dog, with compatible dogs, or with a dog experienced cat. A multi dog family should supervise meals and respect each dog's signals and personal space.

Cinnamon is not suited to a home that uses forceful handling, expects immediate confidence in every new situation, or plans to keep her outside without regular walks and family interaction.
