Camo - Plott Hound Dog for Adoption in Gainesville, Texas

Camo is a sweet boy who is about 7 months old and weighs around 33 pounds. We are calling him a Plott Hound mix, but that is just our best guess.

He may look a little wild when you first see him in his kennel, but give him a chance to get out, stretch his legs, and settle in, and you’ll see a completely different dog.

Once he has had a chance to burn off that initial energy, Camo turns into a total love bug. He is happy to hang out with a toy, curl up for some attention, and just enjoy being with his people. He has a really nice balance of playful puppy energy and being able to settle down.

Camo is also very treat motivated, which makes training a whole lot easier. He is still young and has plenty to learn, but he is eager, affectionate, and ready for someone to give him the chance to show what a great companion he can be.

Camo is located in Gainesville, TX, but we offer transportation services all over the U.S. Out-of-state adopters are welcome to schedule a FaceTime meet-and-greet with him before adoption.
