DESCRIPTION

Meet Pita — the quiet one of this bread-named litter, but don't let that fool you. He's an 8-month-old pit mix who takes a little longer to warm up than his sisters, courtesy of a previous home that didn't set him up for confidence. Once he settles in, though, this boy pockets all your affection and turns into an absolute goofball who loves to play.

Pita is a bit shy at first meeting — he's still learning that new people and new places aren't something to worry about. Give him time, patience, and consistency, and you'll watch him unfold from "cautious observer" to "happy, playful sidekick" right before your eyes. He's a fan of people, gets along well with other dogs, and just needs someone willing to let him go at his own pace.

If you love the idea of being the one who helps a shy pup discover his fun side, Pita is waiting to show you what he's got underneath that reserved exterior.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
