Skittles - Pit Bull Terrier Dog for Adoption in Stratham, New Hampshire

SKITTLES

Pit Bull Terrier
🇺🇸
Stratham, New Hampshire
June 30th
male, large, senior

DESCRIPTION

Skittles (approximately 56 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. This gentle, affectionate senior dog has proven to be an easy and loving companion in foster care. His foster mom describes him as incredibly sweet, laid-back, and happiest when he can be close to his person. Perfect gentleman Skittles is fully house-trained, calm in the home, settles easily after activity. He adorably enjoys carrying around squeaky toys or chewing on soft toys, plus he loves cuddling and thoroughly enjoys being petted. His foster mama notes that Skittles sometimes seems a little sad, possibly missing his previous owner, but he frequently wags his tail and responds warmly to affection and companionship.

Skittles was successfully fostered with dogs of all sizes and ages, and he enjoys being around other dogs. We do think that he would also do well as an only pet. This handsome fellow knows "sit," walks nicely on a leash, and has shown no concerning behaviors. Skittles has a slower pace, preferring a relaxed lifestyle over high-energy activities. His favorite pastime is simply being near his people, snuggling, and enjoying a squeaky toy. Because of his easygoing temperament, affectionate nature, and adaptable personality, Skittles would be an excellent match for a first-time dog owner, a quieter household, or anyone looking for a loyal companion who enjoys a relaxed pace of life. Our beloved Skittles is an affectionate senior dog who would love a comfortable home where he can spend his golden years surrounded by affection and companionship - come meet him today!
