Scarlett O'Hara (approximately 49 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. We suspect that she got her name because she is as beautiful as her namesake, because she certainly does not bring any drama the way the real Scarlett did! Our Scarlett was lucky enough to spend time in a Southern foster home, where we learned that she is practically perfect in every way. Scarlett is just as social & friendly as she is beautiful, which is saying A LOT as her gorgeous black merle coat is absolutely show-stopping. Scarlett loves people, including children, and she was fostered with other dogs who she got along very well with. As if she's not already amazing enough, Scarlett is also house trained, crate trained, and doggie door trained. She is exceptionally good for veterinary visits and even gave kisses to her veterinarian! Scarlett's foster mama describes her as an affectionate little angel who would make a wonderful family dog.
