Lark - Pit Bull Terrier Dog for Adoption in Stratham, New Hampshire

LARK

Pit Bull Terrier
🇺🇸
Stratham, New Hampshire
June 8th
female, medium, young

DESCRIPTION

Lark (approximately 45 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from our friends at Humane World for Animals in Maryland. She was surrendered to her original shelter because her owner had too many animals and was unable to care for all of them. Humane World for Animals took over her care when Lark's original shelter experienced overcrowding issues, so our lovely girl has experienced several living situations in the past few months. Despite this, she remains a dog who loves people❤️ Lark is a bit shy at first with new friends, but her desire to get attention usually overcomes her anxiety and she enjoys getting petting and being close with humans. Lark participated in many multi-dog play groups in Maryland and got along well with the other dogs she met there. She walks well on leash and thoroughly enjoys a good walk beside a canine friend. And Lark requests that we tell you how much she LOVES water. Specifically kiddie pools, but as these are the only bodies of water she has experience with, she is ready & willing to try out other forms of water as well. Lakes, ponds, swimming pools, rivers...maybe even the ocean! Lark lights up when she sees a kiddie pool, and she frolics like a little water sprite - it is truly adorable. Come meet Lark today - she is very much looking forward to finally have the fur-ever home of her dreams!

If you'd like to meet Lark and all her friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed).
