Meet Rolo!

Rolo is a 2-year-old, 55-pound bully mix who is truly as beautiful on the inside as he is on the outside! With his stunning muted tan coat featuring soft gray hues and those absolutely mesmerizing baby blue eyes, this handsome boy is guaranteed to turn heads. But trust us, his personality is even more special than his looks!
Rolo is wonderful with literally everyone—dogs, cats, and people! He loves to run, play, and get his zoomies out in the yard with his doggy friends. But once he comes inside, he transforms into a cautious, refined little gentleman who is incredibly well-mannered. He never barks, has had zero potty accidents, goes right into his crate, walks beautifully on a leash, and doesn't mind a car ride. He is food motivated, knows commands, and is eager to please!
But what makes Rolo even more special is his story.

Rolo's journey into rescue began when he was dumped in a known dumping ground in St. Louis, Missouri. Instead of being offered kindness, he was met with people trying to shoo him away. Naturally, he became leery of people, but underneath that uncertainty was a sweet boy who so desperately wanted to feel loved and safe.
Thankfully, Rolo found that kindness in his trapper, who visited him daily, patiently earning his trust and showing him that not every human will turn him away. Some of us have open arms, ready to welcome him into safety, into rescue, and hopefully, one day, into the forever home he's always deserved.
Rolo may need just a little time to trust, but with some patience, reassurance, and a whole lot of spoiling, he will quickly blossom into the most loyal, devoted companion. He is ready to soak up every bit of love, every gentle pet, and every snuggle his forever family has to offer.

This boy is absolute perfection, and after everything he's been through, we can't wait for him to finally experience what it means to be someone's forever.

Tax-deductible adoption fee: $400

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations and heartworm/flea prevention, heartworm and fecal tested, and examined by our veterinarian to assess their overall health. We are committed to providing comprehensive veterinary care based on each dog's individual needs. Additional medical care, including dental procedures, treatment of ear infections, specialty veterinary appointments, and other necessary treatments, is provided as needed on a case-by-case basis prior to adoption. Our goal is to address each dog's medical needs and ensure they are as healthy and comfortable as possible before beginning their new life with their forever family.

Every adopted dog also goes home with a collar, leash, toy, two bowls, and copies of their medical records and microchip information.
