NEW A5765167 Potato | Pitbull Puppy

#A5765167
Say hello to
Potato
, an 8-month-old pittie puppy who is every bit as adorable and lovable as her name suggests! This sweet little munchkin is a gorgeous soft russet brown with tiny splashes of white on her chest and little feetchies - just like a perfectly baked potato topped with a dollop of sour cream. Potato is bursting with happy puppy energy and would love an active family to join for zoomies, hikes, runs, or long neighborhood strolls before curling up beside you as the ultimate cuddle buddy and couch potato. She’s still young and learning, so she would thrive with continued training, socialization, and all the puppy basics to help her grow into the amazing dog she’s meant to be. Although she was surrendered over concerns about how she gets along with other animals, Potato has been playful, social, and friendly with dogs at the shelter, happily bouncing between energetic play sessions with pups and climbing into the staff’s laps for kisses and pets. This joyful little wiggle worm is ready to squirm her way straight into your heart - come meet Potato today!

-8 month old tan and white Pitbull puppy

-40 pound spayed female, but still growing, so may get a little bigger- probably on the medium-large end of the spectrum

-may need the standard round of shots and preventatives before she can go home with you, but the shelter can likely help with this!

-came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 3/25/26 as an owner surrender due to concerns about her being aggressive towards other animals - fortunately, we have not seen this at all at the shelter, as she has been appropriate and outgoing with other dogs; just to be safe, we do recommend no cats and only dogs her size or bigger

-perfect blank slate of a pup - already knows sit and may be working on potty training, so could use a bit more work on all the puppy basics

-absolutely adorable, with charmingly oversized ears and an even bigger personality - would be the perfect addition looking to learn and grow with a lifetime companion!
