Hi, I’m Gracie!
But you can call me Meatball or Duckling, too! My foster family gave me those nicknames, and apparently, once you meet me, you'll understand why. I'm a happy, goofy little girl who was rescued from a California shelter, and I have a whole lot of personality packed into one adorable body!
My front legs are a little different, and I've had surgery to help me get stronger. But here's the funny part: nobody told me I'm supposed to slow down! I run, zoom, jump, explore, and even practice my own version of parkour around the house. I'm getting stronger every day, and I'm having a pretty great time being a puppy!
I'm also a professional cuddle enthusiast. Cooking dinner? I'll supervise. Going for a drive? Passenger princess reporting for duty! Heading to bed? Scoot over, because I'm coming too! I absolutely adore hugs, kisses, belly rubs, and even getting my little paws pampered.
I'm potty-trained, crate-trained, and a wonderful car passenger. I already know sit and come, take treats gently, and I'm learning more every day. I love kids, enjoy meeting other dogs, and have enough affection to go around!
Now, I do have one funny little habit. If you leave the room without me, I might start singing. My foster family says I sound like an orca whale! What can I say? I love my people, and I have some very important feelings about being left out.
I'm looking for a family who will continue supporting me as I grow stronger, appreciate my silly personality, and give me all the love I've been waiting to share.
I don't need anyone to feel sorry for my little legs. I need someone who can keep up with my big personality, laugh at my silly noises, and save me a spot in bed. The cuddles are nonnegotiable!
