Meet Echo

Echo is a beautiful brindle pittie who was found alone in a field in Palmdale. Despite whatever her life may have looked like before being found, she has been nothing but incredibly sweet, gentle, and easygoing with everyone she’s met.

The vet estimates Echo to be around 2–3 years old and she currently weighs about 54 pounds. She is a little underweight and has some adorable grey on her face that makes her look older and wiser than she actually is. Her recent exam showed that her heart and lungs sounded good, and she was an absolute champ for the entire visit even calmly allowing the vet to examine her teeth and ears. She was treated for an ear infection and will need a follow-up to make sure everything has cleared up nicely.

Temperament-wise, this girl is a gem. Echo has been described as super chill, friendly, and non-reactive with both people and dogs. She has plenty of energy to enjoy walks and playtime, but she also seems to have a wonderfully relaxed nature. Even when a small dog barked right in her face, Echo remained completely unfazed and showed no aggression.

Because she is newly rescued, her finders have been doing exactly what we recommend taking introductions slowly, keeping interactions controlled, and allowing everyone time to get comfortable. So far, Echo has handled everything beautifully.

We may not know what brought this sweet girl to that field in Palmdale, but we do know she deserves for the next chapter to be so much better than the last. She’s young, affectionate, easygoing, and ready for someone to show her what being truly loved and cared for feels like.
