Outrageous Orange - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Jarrettsville, Maryland

Outrageous Orange is a 3-month-old boy from our Crayon Box litter, and he's every bit as fun as his name suggests!

This sweet kitten loves attention and happily soaks up pets while purring away. He's comfortable being picked up, but like any busy kitten, there's usually playing to be done!

Outrageous Orange especially loves playing with other cats and would be thrilled to have a feline friend in his forever home. He's also been introduced to dogs and has done well so far with short, slow introductions that give him time to get comfortable.

Cat 6 months or older - $75
Senior cats 8 years or older- $50

Adoption fees cover the cost of care and veterinary services.

All adoptable cats have received:
Spay/neuter surgery
Distemper vaccine
Rabies vaccine (if over 16 weeks old)
De-wormer and flea prevention medication
Veterinary exam
Test for FIV and FeLV
Microchip

ADOPTION PROCESS
1. Review our adoption contract and application.

2. Call your vet and references to inform them that a rescue representative will be calling.

3. Submit an application, including the cat's name that you are interested in or description of what you are looking for.

4. You will be notified of the outcome of your application within 1-3 days.

5. If approved, you will be introduced to the foster to schedule a meeting within 5 days. Guidelines for the meeting are:

- Bring a carrier and be prepared to take the animal home directly from the meeting.

- Please be prepared to submit the adoption fee via electronic payment at the meeting.

- If all goes well, the cat will go home with you directly after the meeting. If you are not ready to adopt at the conclusion of the meeting, please understand that we may process other applications for the cat. Because we have a limited number of foster homes, we cannot hold cats past adoption.
