Leftie - Pit Bull Terrier and Terrier Dog for Adoption in Homestead, Florida

Leftie is the cutest little Pitty mix pup ever! He is named a special name - Our vet had unexpected paralysis on the left side on the day that Leftie was brought in so we named him LEFTIE.

Our vet is doing fine and is already back to work!

Leftie is a special story. He was brought in to the vet as a sick puppy. tested positive for PARVO and we decided to do what we could to save his life. He is a survivor and with the help of medical intervention and tender loving care of the vet staff, HE SURVIVED and is doing terrific! Loves to play with toys and snuggle in a blanket. Didn't like the bath too much but loved the towel wrapped around him and to hide underneath it. He is rambunctious and then he tires out. He is a good napper.

Parvo is a very serious virus but once a survivor, he will never get it again.

We are asking for a family or person to give LEFTIE a chance at life in a home where he is loved and appreciated. He will need people that understand the discrimination towards the Pit Bull and Pit Bull mix breeds. He will need good discipline with calm and loving care and training. He may need you to stand up for him with those that do not understand that he is a good dog.
