Meet Charlston!

Charlston is a handsome 1-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix who is ready to show you just how sweet he can be! When he first arrived at HSSM as a stray, he was a little scared and unsure of his new surroundings. But with some time and patience, Charlston has started to come out of his shell and show us the loving boy hiding beneath that initial shyness. Watching him grow more comfortable has been such a joy, and now he’s ready to find a family who will help him continue to shine!

One of the best ways to see Charlston’s true personality is to watch him with his doggy friends! He loves other dogs, and when he gets the chance to let loose and play, his happy, playful side really comes alive. Charlston deserves a home where he can feel safe, build confidence, and enjoy all the love life has to offer. Could you be the person to give this sweet boy his chance at forever?

Charlston's $300 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccines, microchip AND transport fee to a location near you. We currently have transportation to CT, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, GA, and TN. Please email transport@hssm.org for more information on transports!
