Meet Kain!

Kain is a handsome 4-year-old Chow Chow mix who deserves a chance to finally find the loving home he’s been waiting for. He may have been through a lot in his life so far, but that doesn’t make him any less deserving of a fresh start and a family who will see his worth. Every dog deserves a place where they belong, and we hope Kain’s next chapter will be filled with kindness, comfort, and love.

Kain is heartworm positive, but that diagnosis does not define him or his future. Heartworm disease is treatable with proper veterinary care, and Kain deserves the opportunity to receive treatment while surrounded by love. He may not need just any home—he needs the right home, one that will give him a chance and never give up on him. Could you be the person who changes Kain’s life for the better?

Kain's $250 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccines, microchip AND transport fee to a location near you. We currently have transportation to CT, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, GA, and TN. Please email transport@hssm.org for more information on transports!
