Monkey Love Bug - Pit Bull Terrier and Staffordshire Bull Terrier Dog for Adoption in Friendswood, Texas

MONKEY LOVE BUG

Pit Bull Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier
🇺🇸
Friendswood, Texas
August 13th
male, medium, baby

DESCRIPTION

Monkey would like it officially noted that being a rough-and-tumble puppy and being an enormous lovebug are not mutually exclusive. He can jump right into the action with Jackson and his siblings, wrestle with the best of them, and thoroughly enjoy all the ridiculousness of puppy play. But lately, his foster has noticed another side becoming especially strong: Monkey really, really likes his people.

Once the playing winds down, this little guy turns into a people-clinger. If there is a human available for snuggling, Monkey sees absolutely no reason to maintain unnecessary personal space. That sweet, affectionate side has already worked its magic on more than a few people who understandably, have become pretty smitten with him.

Go watch Monkey on YouTube and youll get a glimpse of both halves of the equation: puppy playmate and professional cuddler. Hes making a convincing case that the best place to recover from wrestling with your siblings is directly on top of a person. https://youtu.be/YkbMMzr-XDw

Monkey is growing up in a foster home surrounded by people and animals, so he is getting lots of experience with life beyond his litter. He has been lovingly handled by children and lives around other dogs, cats and even a pig and goat. He is sweet, social and getting a really nice early foundation while he is still young.

Hell still need everything puppies need as they grow- training, consistency, continued socialization, patience and someone willing to guide him through all those wonderfully chaotic baby-dog stages. And because he is so young, we expect his personality to keep developing too. But if his current trajectory holds, Monkey may grow into exactly the kind of dog who has a blast doing things with you and then wants to curl up close when the day is done. Preferably very, very close.

If your lap has an opening and your heart does too, Monkey would be happy to fill both. Apply to adopt Monkey here: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6a70accc59eedbd2160ea667
