Pit Bull Terrier Dogs Available for Adoption in Elyria, Ohio
ABBY - FOSTER TO ADOPT
Pit Bull Terrier
🇺🇸
Elyria, Ohio
May 8th
female, medium, adult
DESCRIPTION
Miss Abby was a great mother and now it's her turn to be spoiled! She is a happy go lucky 2-year-old female Pit Mix weighing 60lbs. Abby was rescued by another organization where she helped raise her puppies before they were all available for adoption. She is now at our shelter, her puppies have been adopted, and it is her turn. Abby is still too milky to be fixed, so she is a candidate for "foster to adopt" where she will dry up and then come back to the shelter to be fixed in a couple of weeks. She has a spunky, sweet energy and loves to give kisses!
No appointment is necessary to adopt. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis, by visiting the shelter. Applications are not accepted in advance, but will be filled out upon adoption.
If you have another dog and/or children in your family and are interested in adopting a FAPL dog, please bring them with you for a meet and greet. Please bring a copy of lease agreement if you rent home/apartment.
All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Dogs 7 months and older are heartworm tested.
Upon visiting FAPL, if you don’t see a particular dog you are looking for that is on the website, please ask at the front desk.
