Meet Angel!
This absolutely gorgeous 8 year old Persian arrived at FAPL due to the death of her owner. She is a cuddly, calm sweetheart that prefers a quiet home. Angel is fearful of dogs and cats, so best as the only pet. She will need regular grooming for her glorious coat of fur. Angel qualifies for the Senior for Seniors Program in which the adoption fee is waived for humans over the age of 60.

All cats receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, and spayed/neutered. Cats over 3 months of age are microchipped and FIV/feline leukemia tested.

No appointment is necessary to adopt. Adoptions are done on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications will not be accepted in advance and will be filled out at the shelter upon adoption. We want you to meet the purrrrfect feline for you and your lifestyle! FAPL is open Tuesdays-Saturdays from 11am-6:30pm. Sundays 12:00-3:00pm. Closed to the public Mondays. Please bring a copy of lease agreement if you rent home/apartment.

Upon adoption, all cats must go home in a carrier. You may bring one of your own or purchase one from FAPL for a small fee. Please remember, the carrier cannot be opened until safely within your home.

The Persian cat is a beloved breed known for its luxurious, long fur, flat face, and gentle temperament. Originating from Persia, now Iran, Persians are characterized by their round faces, short noses, and large, expressive eyes. These affectionate and calm cats make wonderful indoor companions, thriving in a peaceful and quiet environment. Persians require regular grooming to maintain their stunning coat and are prone to some health issues due to their flat facial structure.
