Dashing 2 year old Dopey came to FAPL from a loving home and we hope his shelter stay is a short one! Dopey is a very friendly, social dog. He is dog friendly and in his previous home he adored people of all ages- from the children to adults. Dopey knows- sit, down, stay, come, and wait. He is house trained and crate trained. Here at the shelter, he has been cat tested and does not seem phased by cats. Dopey loves riding in the car and sticking his head out of the sunroof! Looking for an affectionate canine companion? Come meet Dopey today!
No appointment is necessary to adopt. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis, by visiting the shelter. Applications are not accepted in advance, but will be filled out upon adoption.
If you have another dog and/or children in your family and are interested in adopting a FAPL dog, please bring them with you for a meet and greet. Please bring a copy of lease agreement if you rent home/apartment.
All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Dogs 7 months and older are heartworm tested.
Upon visiting FAPL, if you dont see a particular dog you are looking for that is on the website, please ask at the front desk.
