Nova is known to be spunky, higher energy, affectionate, clingy, and so incredibly loving. Nova could live with another playful dog like herself with a proper introduction. She would do best with respectful children 10+. She would love to show you how smart she is with some positive reinforcement.

Here is what shelter staff and volunteers have to say about Nova:
Nova is a tiny little stocky pocket pittie with a HUGE personality, an even bigger heart, and absolutely no idea that her life may now depend on someone choosing to help her. She was found alone as a stray, and based on her condition and history, it is strongly suspected that Nova was used for backyard breeding before eventually being discarded and left to fend for herself. She gave her body to produce puppies, and when she was no longer wanted, she was left behind.
And somehow, despite whatever she endured before arriving here, Nova still loves people with her entire heart. She is one of the sweetest girls you could ever meet. She is energetic, goofy, affectionate, playful, and completely overflowing with personality. Nova wants to be wherever her people are and would happily
follow them to the ends of the earth just to be included. She does well with other dogs, although she can occasionally be a little invasive of their personal space because Nova has apparently never been introduced to the concept of boundaries. She walks okay on leash, loves hard, lives loudly, and has so
much joy packed into her little body.
