Cottontail’s personality is happy-go-lucky, hang by your side, with a side of bouncy, playfulness then crash, it's time to nap. He does well with other gentle dogs like himself and prefers females. Cottontail would do best with respectful children 12+.

🚨 LAST CALL FOR COTTONTAIL! 🚨 ⏰ He MUST have a plan by Sunday 05/24/26 at 5:00 PM! ⏰ 💔 THIS HANDSOME GENTLEMAN WOULD LIKE TO BE SPOILED!💔 Meet Cottontail — a sweet, easy-going older guy who is more than ready to trade shelter life for a soft couch, fluffy blankets, tasty snacks, and people to love him forever. This adorable little potato spends most of his kennel time curled up napping on his blanket, dreaming of a comfy home to enjoy his golden years. He is easy to get out of the kennel, walks nicely on leash, and absolutely loves taking his time to stop and smell the roses. 🌹 In the office, Cottontail is pure charm! He happily greets everyone before immediately beginning his very important mission... searching for treats. 🍖 This boy is VERY food motivated and will carefully inspect every inch of the room for crumbs and snacks. He knows how to sit, loves attention, and after his tummy is full, his silly side starts to shine. Cottontail isn’t interested in toys or tennis balls — he just wants food, fresh air, soft blankets, and his people. 🛋💕 In playgroup,
he was more interested in sniffing around than interacting with dogs. He did well with calm female dogs but would prefer no male dogs. 💔 This sweet older man has already been in the shelter for a heartbreaking 61 DAYS!💔 Please don’t let him spend another day waiting. He deserves comfort, love, and a peaceful home where he can finally relax.
