Meet Dan!
Named after Noah Kahan's "Dan" from The Great Divide album, this little guy may not have an existential folk soundtrack yet, but he does have the soulful puppy eyes down.
Dan and his siblings arrived at the shelter at just 2 weeks old, listed simply as "strays." Since they were so tiny, we don't know much about where they came from or exactly what breeds make up this adorable crew. What we do know? They're 100% certified good puppies.
Dan is equal parts explorer, comedian, professional toy tester, and enthusiastic greeter. He approaches every day like it's his first day on Earth (because honestly... it kind of is). Leaves? Incredible. Stuffed toys? Life-changing. Your shoelaces? His greatest discovery yet.
He's been living with older, bigger dogs in his foster home and has done an awesome job respecting their boundaries. He's also a big fan of humans and is always happy to cash in on pets, cuddles, and any attention you're willing to give.
Like every puppy, Dan isn't arriving pre-programmed. His future family should be ready for potty training, teething, socialization, crate training, learning what isn't a chew toy, and all the adventures (and occasional chaos) that come with raising a puppy. The puppy stage is messy, hilarious, exhausting, and absolutely worth it.
We don't know what Dan's first chapter looked like, but we know what we'd love his next one to be: a home where he'll be loved through every growth spurt, zoomie session, and goofy milestone.
So if you're looking for a puppy with a big personality, an even bigger heart, and enough charm to make you forgive the occasional missing sock... Dan is ready to headline your next chapter.
