FLOOF ALERT
Meet Bandit - an eight-pound, two-month old teddy bear! This puppers is full of love, curiosity, and bounces. After a few minutes of play time, he'll rest soundly by your feet or under the couch - whichever is closer. He brings a smile to everyone's face and is an absolute gem to cuddle.
Bandit is one of four mixed breed puppies we expect will be on the larger side (and even fluffier) when fully grown. We don't know their parentage, but we think there's some Great Pyrenees in there. Great Pyrs are known as guardian dogs who will need adopters committed to their training and grooming needs. These dogs will likely benefit from having a yard of their own with a tall fence to protect and enjoy.
Bandit's favorite things:
Lamby forever. From cuddle buddy to tug of war subject, the squeaky toy is always at his side.
Crinkle toys = instant joy!!
He's definitely a pup, but is doing well on all the important fronts.
We're still working on potty training, but are getting better by the day!
He settles down after a few minutes of crying and still likes to go out a few times during the night. We're also getting used to the crate, so will need a bit more patience and training on that front
Bandit loves other dogs and is always eager to play. Regardless of whether his playmate is the same age or thirteen years his senior, he's always up for tug of war and will be tuckered out after 45 minutes!
Bandit has a sweet little bark that he uses when necessary - not to yip endlessly and without good reason. Assuming he's part Pyr, his bark will serve as an excellent doorbell and intruder alert.
