DESCRIPTION
Hi! I am Teddy (Ted), a super sweet 70 lbs. (I have been told I need to lose 5-10 pounds to get to my ideal weight) dog who loves going on walks, hanging out with you on the couch and sneaking a kiss whenever I can. I am about 6 years and 6 months old and have completed obedience training when I was a pup. I am house-broken, crate trained, very good at basic commands and great on a leash. Do not leave your food out on the counter though because I am quite the thief!
Ted was originally picked up by a beloved prime time, retired Dallas news anchor and animal lover who saw him in the middle of a busy street, with cars just moving around him. He stopped, got out and had to coax Ted into the safety of his vehicle. We originally fostered Ted because the previous owner described above was hospitalized and had to put him up for adoption. After a few weeks we decided to keep him, and we love Teddy so much.
While he gets along great with other dogs our Shepard mix does not like him for some reason, so we must find Teddy the forever home he truly deserves. He does have some allergies and takes an allergy pill every day.
Ted needs an owner who can give him plenty of walks and lots of attention and love. He has a huge heart and will make someone a great companion.
Teddy is participating in the iRehome program. All iRehome dogs are being rehomed by their current owner. All iRehome behavioral and medical information is provided by the dog's current owner. TLP encourages all adopters to verify the information with the current owner prior to completing the adoption process.
