Seth is an 11-year-old with the energy of a pup half his age. Seth was adopted on April 15, 2015, and he
has been loved and spoiled ever since. Seth has only known the comforts of living inside. He has been
gracious enough to share a queen-size bed with his human butler, and he lounges on two dog beds and a
sofa during the day. He was crate-trained as a puppy, but in his older years, he has done better having free-roam choices.
Seth has a touch of arthritis, which can slow him down at times. He has also been accustomed to a potty schedule in which he does not go more than 6 hours between outside potty times. Due to this, Seth would thrive in a home with humans who are kind, patient, and who perhaps have a chill lifestyle and work schedule so that they can give him a good portion of their time during the day.
Seth does not get along with feral cats, but he does not seem to mind cats at the vet or at the groomer's.
He used to share his home with a small chihuahua, until the chihuahua was adopted by someone else. He loves making new friends, and he is a gentle soul. He still might thrive in a home where he is the only
fur-child. Seth has been around human children, but it has been a few years, so he might do better with
older kids. He might not like having little hands pull at his ears and his tail.
Seth has always had a sensitive stomach. His humans tried many dog foods, and he either lost his hair or got sick. He is now on a fresh-chicken-with-bone-broth diet. He would thrive in a home where his new humans can buy him probiotics, joint supplements, and all of the dog treats that his heart desires. Although he is on the larger side when it comes to size, Seth has always handled smaller, softer treats better.
For play, Seth loves squeaky toys. He hops and runs for his squeaky friends. He also enjoys kicking a ball
or two around outside. Seth enjoys going for rides in the car, and he loves exploring new places. He has always been curious and intelligent. He loves to learn. Seth is potty-trained, and he has learned multiple requests such as sit, up, stop, come, etc.
Seth deserves to live out his golden years with someone who will love him unconditionally and who will be his protector, whether it means comforting him during a thunderstorm or reassuring him that the wind howling outside won't hurt him.
If needed, Seth can take all of his beds, toys, and supplies with him to get you started. Seth's current
human butler is even willing to provide a month of his Simparica Trio and extra food.
Seth is participating in the iRehome program. All iRehome dogs are being rehomed by their current owner. All iRehome behavioral and medical information is provided by the dog's current owner. TLP encourages all adopters to verify the information with the current owner prior to completing the adoption process.
