When Sparky was rescued over a year ago, he was severely underweight and covered in cuts from surviving life on the streets of South Texas, where pit bulls are far too often neglected and mistreated. Despite everything he endured, Sparky never lost his sweet spirit. After being surrendered by his owner, he was lovingly nursed back to health - and now he's ready for the happy ending he truly deserves.

Sparky is a fun-loving, affectionate 6-year-old Pitty who absolutely loves being around people. He's approachable, leash-trained, and enjoys spending time with his humans. He gets along well with cats and most dogs, making him a wonderful companion for many types of homes.

What Sparky wants most is simple: a safe, loving family where he can finally relax, be cherished, and enjoy the life he was always meant to have. He's already survived the hard part - now he just needs someone to give him the forever home he's been waiting for.
