Millie - Golden Retriever and Poodle Dog for Adoption in Colorado Springs, Colorado

I am a sweet, gentle Goldendoodle looking for her forever family!

I am a calm, gentle girl with lots of patience. When meeting new people, I do take a minute to warm up. I am also very curious. I enjoy walks so I can explore the world. Overall, I am very low maintenance and I rarely bark. I do well with children and may do best as an only dog.

General Socialization Notes:
I am fully house trained and I am a very smart girl that knows all her basic cues. I tend to be naturally drawn towards women but overall, I'm social to all humans. I do need a little time to warm up but you will quickly win me over, especially with treats. I do best with routine. I can be a little unsure of being around other dogs on leash but I am willing to work on that and learn to feel more comfortable in those situations.

Does Mille like other animals?
Recently, I haven't spent a lot of time around other dogs so I'd need slow, supervised introductions. Another calm dog might be best. But, I do think I might do best in a home as an only dog so that I could be close to my human(s) and get all the love! I have met cats but since it's been awhile, I'd need slow introductions to them too.

Does Millie like children?
I have lived with children and I have done wonderfully with them!

Favorite Toys:
I do enjoy tug of war. I also love my chew bones and softer multi textured toys. I have been known to enjoy an occasional session of zoomies too!

Ideal Forever Home:
I'm looking for a loving family who would enjoy spending time with me. I don't want to be home alone for long stretches of time. I'd love a home with a yard so I can run and play outside. A retired person or someone who works from home would be the best fit for me. I do love being close to my human(s). If you're looking for a best friend, I'm your girl!
