Meet Milo, a 5-year-old sweetheart with one of the gentlest souls around.

Milo is incredibly sweet, loving, and easy to spend time with. He walks wonderfully on leash, takes treats ever so gently, knows sit, and has such a soft, lovely temperament. Back at the shelter, you will often find him curled up on his blanket, quietly settling in and making the best of his surroundings.

Right now, Milo is on the mellow side, but we think there may be more of his personality waiting to come out once he is feeling better. He came to the shelter with several medical concerns, particularly involving his eyes, and was sent to a veterinarian for further evaluation. He was diagnosed with entropion, along with extremely low tear production in both eyes, and is currently receiving eye lubrication and treatment for his ears. The good news is that his eye condition will be surgically corrected upon adoption.

Even while he is not feeling his best, Milo remains incredibly gentle, trusting, and affectionate. We can only imagine how wonderful it will be to watch him get comfortable, feel better, and discover what life is like when he is finally feeling like himself.

Milo has passed his dog assessment. If you have a resident dog, bring them along for a meet and greet.
