Meet Zamboni—a 12-year-old Husky who was named after the famous ice resurfacer because we can 100% picture him gliding out onto the ice at a Sabres game and absolutely stealing the show from the players!

At first, Zamboni is giving classic Husky energy: a little aloof, scanning the perimeter, and very much like, I have important Husky business to attend to. But give him a few minutes and watch that cool-guy act melt away! Before you know it, hes a total goofball who wants belly scratches, playtime, and to simply hang out with his people.

At about 45 pounds, Zamboni is pure main-character energy. And the good news? He did well during his assessments with other dogs! Have canine friends at home? Bring them along to meet him—meet and greets with resident dogs are always required.

Zamboni is ready to clear the ice on his shelter stay and skate straight into a new life with YOU!

These medium sized, energetic dogs are known for their friendly and outgoing personalities, making them wonderful companions for active families. Originally bred for sledding and endurance in cold climates, huskies are intelligent and independent, often displaying a strong prey drive. Proper training and regular exercise are crucial to keep these playful and social animals happy and well adjusted.
