Hi, my name is Sandy! I'm a PURPLE pawprint, which means I will fit well into a home that meets some specific criteria. Here is what would work best for me in my new home:

-Personality: Active, friendly, submissive, energetic
-Can Live with Kids: Yes - although sturdy, dog savvy kids would be best as Sandy gets very excited and a bit jumpy when greeting people. Recommending kids 8+, up to counselor's discretion.
-Can Live with Cats: Yes - it was noted that Sandy chased cats in her previous home, so dog savvy, confident cats would be best. No shy or senior kitties who prefer to be left alone. Slow/supervised introductions always recommended.
-Can Live with Dogs: Yes - Sandy has lived with a variety of dogs in the past and would be best suited with another gentle, respectful dog. No rambunctious/rowdy dogs. All initial introductions done at WHS to ensure everyone gets along.
-Can do Apartment Living: No thanks - Sandy is an energetic girl and would benefit from living in a home with more space to explore.
-Potty Trained: Yes
-Bite History: No
-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: Yes - 1 private lesson (breed requirement).

Sandy is a submissive girl who is still working on building her confidence, so she’ll do best with a dog-savvy household that’s patient, understanding, and willing to let her settle in at her own pace. Thankfully, it doesn’t take Sandy too long to feel comfortable and once she does, she’s sure to wiggle her way right into your heart! And if the wiggles aren't enough to charm you, her quirky smile and head tilt combo are quite hard to resist.
