Danica - Pit Bull Terrier and American Bully Dog for Adoption in Amarillo, Texas

Danica is a 10–month-old, 35lb bully-type mix with a whole lot of life ahead of her!

After being hit by a car, Danica’s owners surrendered her to rescue so she could receive the medical care and rehabilitation she needed. We’re incredibly grateful she was able to keep her leg, although her injuries required FHO surgery, a procedure that helps relieve hip pain and improve mobility, followed by physical therapy.

We’re happy to report that Danica has made a wonderful recovery! This little girl has been through a lot at such a young age, and now she’s ready to put that chapter behind her and find a family of her own.

Even better, Danica is great with other dogs, cats, and kids! She’s spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and ready to head home.

Danica has already overcome so much. Now she just needs someone to give her the happy ending she deserves.
