Kobe is a handsome miniature long-haired Dachshund weighing about 12.8 lbs. At 2 years old, he’s a little guy with plenty of personality who enjoys walks, car rides, playing in the yard, and spending time with his people.
Kobe was owner-surrendered after his owner had to move out of state and was unfortunately unable to keep him. Through no fault of his own, he’s now looking for a loving home where he can settle in and be part of the family.
He’s leash trained and doing well with crate training. Kobe is still working on his house training and manners, and we’re hopeful he’ll continue making progress now that he’s been neutered. He gets along well with dogs of all sizes, cats, and older children. A securely fenced yard is important, as Dachshunds are curious little explorers who may dig or climb shorter fencing.
Kobe is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and preventatives, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm and tick-borne diseases, and has had a negative fecal test. He’s ready to find his new home!
Kobe was rescued with Katy, a 1-year-old miniature long-haired Dachshund. We’d love to see them adopted together and stay in the same home, but separate homes may be considered for the right match.
