Pit Bull Terrier and Rottweiler Dogs Available for Adoption in Frisco, Texas

Indigo is 9 weeks old, weighs 5 pounds, and is growing bigger every day! She's starting to discover the fun of toys and enjoys spending time with dogs of all sizes. She also loves riding around in her little carrier with her foster mom and tagging along on adventures. Car rides are no problem for this girl! She's been working hard on potty training and is doing great. Indy already knows how to use the doggy door and will let herself outside when she needs to go. At night, she sleeps soundly in her puppy pen and is already learning some basic manners, including sitting politely and waiting patiently for her meals. Based on her breed makeup, Indigo is expected to weigh between 42–68 pounds when fully grown. According to her DNA results, she is a mix of 13 breeds, with her top two being 59% American Pit Bull Terrier and 13% Rottweiler. Indigo is now available for pre-adoption! Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee

Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee

Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs.

Originally bred for bull baiting and later dog fighting, Pit Bulls today are beloved family pets cherished for their gentle temperament and playful personality. With proper training and socialization, Pit Bull Terriers make affectionate companions that thrive on human interaction. Recognized for their strength and agility, these dogs require regular exercise and mental stimulation to channel their energy positively, reinforcing their reputation as devoted and trainable pets.

The Rottweiler is a powerful and loyal breed known for its robust build and confident demeanor. Originating from Germany, these dogs are renowned for their intelligence, making them excellent guard and working dogs. Rottweilers are known for their distinctive black and tan markings, along with their calm and confident temperament. With proper training and socialization, they can be affectionate companions and effective protectors, embodying the qualities of courage, strength, and loyalty.
