Chihuahua Dogs Available for Adoption in Frisco, Texas

Leo is a spunky, happy 5 1/2 year old, 13 lb, Chihuahua mix who has been patiently waiting for his forever home. He does well with other small dogs and is both potty and crate trained. He enjoys going for walks, cuddling on a lap and loves spending time with his people. Leo would love a small playful companion in his forever home. Leo is looking for an adult only home. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck

*Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row):

Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee

Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee

Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs.

The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Originating from Mexico, these dogs are known for their large, expressive eyes and alert, curious nature. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature. They come in a variety of coat colors and patterns, with both long and short coats, making them a diverse and adorable addition to any family.
