Meet Blueberry! 🫐

Blueberry is a 3-month-old puppy weighing about 11 pounds, and we think she may be a Pit Bull/Lab mix. Like many rescue puppies, her exact breed blend is a mystery, but one thing is certain—this little girl is absolutely bursting with love, joy, and personality.

And can we talk about how adorable Blueberry is? This little girl looks like she was designed to be cute. With her soft blue-gray coat, speckled brindle markings, bright puppy eyes, and perfectly mismatched ears, she has a face that will stop you in your tracks. Her sweet expressions are impossible to resist, and when she comes bouncing toward you with her signature three-legged gallop, she somehow becomes even cuter. Whether she's carrying around her favorite mini Lamby, lounging in the sunshine, or looking up at you with those soulful eyes, Blueberry has a way of making everyone around her smile.

Blueberry is currently thriving in her foster home, where she's winning hearts everywhere she goes. She is ridiculously sweet, loves being around people, and approaches life with a level of happiness that is impossible not to smile at. Her favorite things in the world are toys—especially stuffies—and her beloved mini Lamby is her prized possession.

One of the most special things about Blueberry is that she's a tripod girl, but you would never know it from the way she zooms around. She doesn't let having three legs slow her down for a second. Whether she's playing with her dog friends, exploring the backyard, or doing her adorable little three-legged gallop, Blueberry is always having the time of her life.

She lives with children and absolutely adores them. She also shares her home with several large dogs and loves playing and hanging out with her canine friends. She's social, playful, and always ready to join in on whatever fun is happening. When she's not busy playing, Blueberry enjoys relaxing outside and soaking up the sunshine.

For such a young puppy, she's already proving what a wonderful companion she is. Blueberry is crate trained, quiet in the home, and has a sweet, easygoing nature that makes her a joy to live with. Of course, like any puppy, she'll continue to benefit from guidance, training, socialization, and patience as she grows, but she's already off to an amazing start.

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travel safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop off locations, in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page!

Before the adoption is finalized, you will meet your pet through a video call, creating a fun and personalized experience!

The adoption fee is $1200 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship!

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!

We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100–$1,000+ per dog.

Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
