Tony is the ultimate Velcro dog with a side of goofy, a serious passion for pets and snuggles. Whether you’re working at your desk, eating dinner, or just hanging out, Tony will gladly curl up right under your feet. He wants to be involved in every single thing you do especially if it involves a garden hose! Watering the plants becomes a hilarious game of splash and play when Tony is around. He is a loyal companion and will greet you at the door with his favorite toy in his mouth, ready to show you how much he missed his favorite person.

While his true DNA is a mystery, we suspect Tony is a majestic Husky mix with a coat as soft as a cloud and a heart twice his size. Tipping the scales at a sturdy 63 lbs, he is the ultimate adventure sized sidekick. He’s solid enough to be your hiking partner, but compact enough that he won't hog the entire couch during movie night (though he’ll definitely try to negotiate for the middle cushion!). Tony is basically a professional co pilot in training; he loads up into the car with ease and is always sitting pretty and ready to hit the road for a pup cup or a park trip. As with all our rescue superstars, his breed is a best guess, but those soulful eyes and "toasted marshmallow" looks are 100% guaranteed!
Tony has been absolutely thriving in his foster home, and let’s just say he’s the ultimate house guest! He’s a total gold star student when it comes to house rules; he is fully potty trained and hasn't had a single "oopsie" indoors he’s much too sophisticated for that! When it’s time for some quiet time, Tony is crate trained. He treats his kennel like his own private, cozy VIP lounge where he can catch up on his beauty sleep. He currently lives with a 30lb canine sibling and even some tiny human kiddos (yep, including a little one under a year old!), proving he’s a gentle, patient soul who is a friend to everyone. If we told you he graduated at the top of his class, you’d believe us this boy is one smart cookie! He’s a straight-A student with his manners and is already a master of "sit," "down," "stay," "place," "left," "right," "up," and "off." He even knows his "kennel" command by heart; he’s basically a genius in a fluffy fur coat!
When it comes to other pups, Tony is a total gentleman! He’s a regular at doggy daycare and is perfectly happy to be part of the pack, though he’s not the type to get caught up in high-speed wrestling matches. He’s more of a social observer who enjoys the company of others without needing to be the center of the action. Whether he’s hanging out with his 30lb foster brother or wandering the yard at daycare, Tony is a peaceful, easygoing friend to all dogs. He’s a medium energy guy who has truly mastered the art of the chill. While he might engage in a little play here and there, he is more than content to just share a warm sunspot in the grass with a buddy. Because he’s so well adjusted and mellow, he’d be a fantastic addition to a household with other dogs, but he’s also perfectly happy being your one and only star of the show!
Now, what about the feline variety? Tony hasn't told us his official opinion on cats just yet! We have a feeling Tony is more than willing to share his world of cuddles and sun soaking spots with a kitty friend! To make sure he’s ready to hand over a snuggle permit to a feline roommate, he’d love to have a cozy kitty sleepover with one of our rescue cats as a trial run! This way, we can ensure Tony is on his way to becoming the bestest of buds with a cat before the official move in day.
Tony’s dream home includes endless ear scratches, a yard for epic water hose adventures, and a family who doesn't mind a very cuddly 63 lb shadow! Because Tony is an outdoor enthusiast who takes his yard duties very seriously, he is looking for a home with a fenced in yard rather than an apartment. He needs that private green space to ensure every single blade of grass is thoroughly sniffed and every warm sun spot is perfectly lounged upon! Once his very important yard work is done, he’ll be ready to head inside and resume his favorite job: being right by your side. Whether it’s supervised gardening or movie marathons, Tony just wants to be part of the team. And if you’re a fan of a morning serenade, you’re in luck; Tony loves to start the day with a gentle, happy "awoo" to let you know he’s ready for breakfast and some morning snuggles. He’d thrive with a family who wants a devoted partner for every adventure he’s the kind of boy who will greet you at the door with his absolute favorite toy held proudly in his mouth, wiggling with pure joy!
He might take a couple of days to fully settle in and show you his peak goofy personality, but once he knows he’s home, you’ll have a devoted companion for life! Tony is the definition of a total package, pup who checks every single box you could ask for: he is fully potty trained, crate trained (it’s his favorite private VIP lounge!), and is incredibly gentle and patient with kids of all ages. In short, Tony is a brilliant, toy toting, water loving gentleman who is just waiting for the right family to give him all the snuggles he can handle. He’s the perfect blend of a trained scholar and a cuddly, happy go lucky best friend!

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop off locations, in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page!
Before the adoption is finalized, you will meet your pet through a video call, creating a fun and personalized experience!
The adoption fee is $1,200.00 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship!

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!
We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100–$1,000+ per dog.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
