Meet Celia!

Celia is one of a litter of eight puppies looking for her perfect forever family! Her mama, Molly, is a 40-pound Pembroke Welsh Corgi/Border Collie mix, and thanks to DNA testing on Celia's littermate, Jessie, we know their dad was a Golden Retriever. With that combination, Celia is sure to grow into a smart, loyal, and loving companion.

Born on May 15, Celia currently weighs 9 pounds and is expected to reach 50-70 pounds as an adult.

Celia is the thoughtful observer of the litter. When faced with something new, she likes to hang back and watch her siblings check it out first. Once she's decided it's safe, she's happy to join in the fun. Her gentle, cautious nature means she takes a little extra time to build confidence, but with patience, encouragement, and love, she's blossoming more every day. Celia will thrive with a family that understands that sometimes the sweetest moments come from earning the trust of a gentle soul.

Celia is doing wonderfully with housetraining. Like all young puppies, she'll need a family committed to continuing her training and taking her outside at least every four hours during the day until she's older and able to hold it longer.

Because Celia is expected to be a large dog, she will require a physically fenced yard where she can safely run, play, and burn off puppy energy.

Celia will be 10 weeks old on July 24 and will be ready to head home with her forever family at that time. Before adoption, she will be spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and receive her first two distemper/parvo vaccinations. Her adopters will be responsible for her third distemper/parvo booster at 14 weeks of age and her rabies vaccination at 16 weeks.
