Don’t let her name fool you—Salty is actually one of the sweetest senior girls you’ll ever meet! Born in 2017, this lovely lady is ready to trade the rescue life for a cozy forever home where she can relax, be loved, and enjoy her golden years.

Salty can be a little cautious when she finds herself in a new situation, so she appreciates a little patience while she gets comfortable. Once she settles in, she’s a wonderful companion and does great with both dogs and cats!

She does have a BIG personality when it comes to her canine friends and can sometimes be a little overbearing, so her ideal home would include a calm, easygoing dog sibling who won’t mind her enthusiasm.

Salty is also dealing with some arthritis, but she’s doing well with her new holistic regimen and is enjoying life at her own pace. She also has some separation anxiety, which is why having another dog around makes such a difference for her.

What Salty is looking for is pretty simple: a loving family, a calm canine companion, a comfy spot to relax, and someone willing to give a deserving senior girl the happily-ever-after she’s been waiting for.
